Premier’s Jobs And Investment Panel To Drive Economic Growth And Job Creation In Victoria
The Premier’s Jobs and Investment Panel, which brings together some of Victoria’s brightest business minds, met for the first time today.
Premier Daniel Andrews, along with Treasurer Tim Pallas, Minister for Employment Jacinta Allan, Minister for Industry Lily D’Ambrosio and Minister for Small Business, Innovation and Trade Philip Dalidakis joined the Panel for their first meeting.
The Panel, which is supported by a $508 million Premier’s Jobs and Investment Fund, will provide strategic advice to the Premier on driving economic growth and creating high-skill, high-wage jobs in Victoria.

The Premier’s Jobs and Investment Panel and associated Fund are part of the Andrews Labor Government’s $1 billion Back to Work Plan to create 100,000 new jobs in Victoria.
Following the first meeting of the Panel, the Premier also visited CSL Limited to talk about how they are expanding into global markets with their world leading work on vaccines. The Labor Government recognises the medical technology and pharmaceuticals sector is primed for growth in Victoria.
