Last week was a pretty big one. Trades Hall organised a rally with over 40,000 workers, put over 100 volunteers on the ground in the marginal seat of Bellarine, and are already started preparing for an even bigger community rally on Saturday 6 July.

We’ve shown what we can do when we work together, and our message to Tony Abbott and Denis Napthine is that that was the start, not the end.

Trades Hall is coordinating affiliates and scores of community groups, including social services organisations, environment groups and churches, to hold a community rally on Saturday 6 July from 1pm. This march for a fair Australia will start at the Queen Victoria Gardens (across from the Arts Centre) and will again head to Parliament House.
